Ministry of Mines and Energy. Sabana de Torres, Santander. June 25th, 2018. The Ministry of Mines and Energy continues improving the quality of life and bringing welfare to communities from regions that produce minerals and hydrocarbons. This time, rigid pavement works for Calle 17 between Carrera 22 and 23 of the El Progreso and Comuneros neighborhoods in the urban area of the municipality of Sabana de Torres have been inaugurated. This public work shall benefit over 26,000 people in this settlement.
This project cost more than $188 million pesos, fully financed with resources from the Production Incentive, including the shaping of the existing roadway, expanding and compressing the selected material, installing curbs at both ends, building the field and rigid pavement with a length of 0,1147 km with 7 meters of width for the two-way road.

said the Minister of Mines and Energy, German Arce Zapata.
